
The Calgary market continues to be strong through the month of June. Not only have I seen growth in my personal practice but in my office as well. I love how the media gives the perception that we are in a down market and that home sales on average sell for 5-10% less than asking price. It is true, it is a seller's market with listings surpassing the number of sales per month. That being said, the homes that are selling are typically selling for 97-98.3% of asking price. I am new to blogging but hopefully over the next few months will be able to provide some intuitive information on a healthy real estate market.
